Differences between mobile wireframes and website wireframes
An important difference between website and mobile wireframes is their size and layout. Mobile wireframes have much smaller dimensions, and there is no standard across mobile devices. iOS mobile wireframes are distinguished by stencils specific to iOS devices. Lastly, mobile wireframes are usually created for touch-screen phones or tablets, which determines their peculiar navigation design.
Fidelity of mobile wireframes
Mobile wireframes can vary in the level of detail they display. At the beginning of development low-fidelity mobile wireframes are used more frequently. These wireframes show the basics of the interface and navigation design. Pidoco allows you to create low to medium fidelity mobile wireframes, which can be used for testing and polishing the user interface design of a mobile app.
Benefits of creating mobile wireframes with Pidoco
Pidoco offers four page layouts and a great variety of stencils common in iOS applications. Mobile wireframes can be created by drag and drop and adapted easily to changing needs. Pidoco also provides the opportunity to test mobile wireframes on iPhones and iPads and improve the usability of an app before any development.
